| Not sure if this subject has been covered or if i'm allowed to post about this but I have just read a report on the BBC about there being a strong case to change the law in England and Wales.
I am one of these people who believes you should be able do this as long as it is very controlled, the person knows excatly what they are doing and there is no way it can be abused.
I have seen first hand what's it like to watch a person go through a slow and painful death and it's not something I would like to happen to me....it's horrendous.
So...what are your thoughts on this subject, Yes change the law or No leave it as it is?
Here's the link to the report

| The law should be changed imo, I would.want to be able to end my own suffering without worrying that my family would get into trouble for helping me. I think it's against human rights to not let people end their loves. It has to be controlled carefully though |

| i think that the law should be changed and under VERY controlled circumstances it should be made lawful...maybe a psychological review needs to be done and then a doctor is brought in to administer it, so it can't be abused by family members wanting to hurry things along etc |

| I also agree that the law should be changed.
If a person knows what they want and the circumstances are that they would soon die anyway, then I think it should be allowed. x |

| I agree with it totally. My dad was 27 when he died after a 3 year battle with cancer. It still haunts me the way he suffered, if he was a dog hed have been put out of his misery. x |

| One of the things I like about working with animals is that we can end suffering instantly.
I think the law should be changed |
