There seem to be so many about, but can you personally recommend a backpack with reins please? For ease of use / price / usability rather than prettiness. Although that would be a bonus! For little man xx

I have the little life one, its a fairy/butterfly one. It is good, although Imogen refuses to use it or she likes to hold the reins herself, but thats her not the bag. It fits a surprising amount in too so can get a change of clothes, nappy and wipes in so helps with room in my bag. It's easy for adult to clip/unclip the lead bit and Immi hasn't figured out how to unclip so thats an advantage for us.

Ahhh I knew there was a brand - littlelife must be the one I'd heard others mention, thanks Amanda & Shell. They look a bit big, but that might be just me?? Only done a brief google. I like the chest straps on those animal ones though too em, will look at them a bit more. Do the little life have that too? I prefer the idea of reins that are a 'strap' rather than the one-stranded lead type - if that makes sense. Not sure if they exist though! Much prefer the backpack to a wrist strap though, I'm thinking the bag is a bit more 'grown up' so we've got a bit of security while actually disguised as something else. I think I'm waffling.... xx

We used to use the wrist strap on Oliver but it used to rub his wrists so now he just has a toy story bag and I loop the wrist strap round the loop on the top of the bag. He doesn't need it really but its just added security for me when he's near main roads and such. Only now he wants to hold the strap

We have the LittleLife turtle but Seb has started to refuse to wear it, I've given up trying to put it on him. Anna is getting one for her birthday (I assume it is a Ladybird one) so that may revive his interest, although it looks like she won't be walking for a long time as she isn't even cruising yet. I haven't bothered trying to put stuff in the bag as I don't reckon we'd get much in there.
