Well I guess this will be my last post in here
I'm giving up bf as of tomorrow as hubby isn't keen on it as they get bigger. I'm a little sad about it but do think its about the right time anyway. He only has a morning and evening feed as it is. Should I just drop the evening feed first and let him get used to that and then do the morning one or do you think I should just drop both

Awww that's a shame oh doesn't like it, it should really be your decision, I'd personally drop the morning feed and go straight for breakfast and a drink instead, but what ever your most comfortable with is the right thing to do!

i would do the morning feed first then the evening one last as that will be trickiest. (i am quietly furious at your hubby but will keep it to myself!) unicef and w.h.o advice bf until a child is 2!! anyway.......yeah i would go for morning as its easily replaced by food and or milk

Thanks ladies. I did think that but we get up at 6 and he doesn't have breakfast until he gets to nursery at 7.30 and still seems to quite like that feed. However, he isn't so interested in the evening one and could have a mug of milk on the way home from nursery. It was more the should I drop one which seems to be the case.
I was angry with hubby when he wouldn't talk about it but didn't actually mind once we talked. I probably would have continued for a bit longer but Jamie isn't that interested anymore anyway. He tries to find my boob when he comes in bed with us in the morning but otherwise often pulls away and would rather have a cup or a bottle as he can look around. If I thought he still wanted it then hubby could go jump and I'd still be feeding
