| Hi Ladies, I'm getting quite worried as when I went to the loo last night I started with pink spotting when i wiped. It feels so long since I was pregnant with Harry that ive forgotten if this is normal or not. Im also fretting that I have caused this myself because of having the general anaesthetic, Oramorph, and the horrendous pain during the aspiration of my knee last week.
Has anyone experienced and pink spotting in the early stages? (im 7 weeks ish)
Thanks in advance xxx ( sorry if i'm in the wrong section Lisa) |

| Firstly, congratulations!!!
Secondly, I had bleeding on and off in both pregnancies until about 10 weeks so it can be normal. I would keep an eye on it and if it starts getting worse and you start to get pain too then maybe go to A&E, you may be able to get an early scan to check everything is ok.

| If I remember rightly - spotting is normal, bleeding isn't. Hopefully someone with more wisdom will be along very shortly! |

| Hi hun, I would say not to worry, but I know you still will, its only natural.
With Aimee I had brown spotting.
With Lily I had brown spotting and also a little pink/red.
With this one I had full on red when I wiped and one time I actually had drops of red.
All of these were between 6 and 8 weeks xx |

| Chances are that it is implantation hun. I was so convinced that when I went for my scan that she was going to tell me it was all over, even to the point where I told her that it was ok and not to be worried about telling me as I 'knew' it was over. As you can see, im now nearly 36 weeks gone. x |

| Oooh just a thought. Now, I read this when I was going through it, and it did prove right for me.
Are you drinking enough fluids? I dug deep on the internet and on the days where I wasnt drinking enough, I was spotting. When I kept my fluid intake up, the bleeding stopped. It really did work x |

| Thank you Susan, and thank you for your reply I am really starting to panic, which isn't helping I suppose. I should have said in my first post that I rang the surgeries mw this morning and she has arranged for me to go for a scan on Wednesday, which cant come quick enough. Im so annoyed with myself for having the knee op.
Thanks again hun x |

| Oh thank you Laura, i'm feeling a little more settled now. I'll try to keep calm about it all. I'm just away to drink a couple of pints as that may be the cause - i'm having 2 pts of juice a day but i'll up it to 3 or 4 Thanks love |

| OMG Mo! Am sooo happy for you!!! Yes, I spotted with Maky, and was like this for a couple weeks, nothing major..just trace amounts, is concerning, but is quite normal. Also experienced some cramping/pressure, but was told it's the uterus stretching and growing. Go in and see your mw anyways, it will put your mind at ease. xxx |

| I had some spotting about 6 days ago, but it was after sex, I panicked as well because I've never experienced spotting in either of my other pregnancies. Hope everything's ok with your scan on Wednesday! I'm sure bean will be just fine! |

| I'm sure everything will be fine hun, just rest up (Sorry, I know you've no choice at the moment!!) but try not to worrying With both my EP and M/c..I just knew..it was pain..not cramping. Cramping and stretching is normal and perfectly bearable, but this was so different. You'd just know. Good luck Wednesday, will be thinking of you. xx |

| I'm devastated to say that little bean's light has faded I went for my scan yesterday and it was measuring 5 weeks, and there is blood around it. I'm bleeding heavier and have cramping, so it's just a matter of waiting now. I go back for a scan next week for an update. Thank you for all your support and kind words. Love to you all xxxx |
