| What would you do?? Bought a 2nd hand leapfrog activity centre for Noah off my local facebook baby selling site, the lady said it was in excellent condition and wanted £30 for it. She dropped it off today and i didn't have time to look at it in detail as i was in the middle of a nappy change but it looked fine, I handed over the money, but when i looked at it closely it's horrible The stickers and pics on some of the toys are faded, and it's kind of grimey around where the toys are set in, the seat material is stained (brown marks right round the bum part, and round the top ) Basically not excellent condition at all! But as I've already handed over the money am i screwed? I think my options are either 1) sending her a message saying i'm not happy with the condition, 2) sell it on to someone else (though i wouldn't feel happy selling something in that condition) 3) stop whining, clean it up as best i can and use it. What peed me off too is so much if the dirt came off when i went over it with an anti-bac wipe (although a lot like inside gaps in the toys is ground in). I wouldn't grumble if i'd paid £10 or something for it but £30 is a lot of money for me, hence me having to buy 2nd hand in the 1st place What would you do? |

| Take pics of it, email her and ask for some money back and if she says no, post the pics on the site and let them know how much of a rubbish seller she is. Hate people like that, wouldn't dream of selling/giving away something thats so minging x |

| ^^^What they said.
I got a baby walker with activity centre thing of ebay and the condition wasn't great, although better than you describe here! It cost less than you paid and I kinda knew the risk I was getting into so didn't take it up with them but I kinda regretted it because it wasn't actually in the full working order advertised. It came up clean but only once we'd taken it completely to pieces, put the seat through the washer and OH had had a poke at the electonic bits inside to get all the bits of (hopefully) spilled drink and babyfood out from the crevices. I certainly wouldn't have sold it on in the condition it was in. x |

| Good ideas!! She's posted a photo of it and it does look really nice in the photo, it's only close up in real life that you can see the faded bits, the grooves around the toys that have dirt worn in, the stains on the seat material.. I hate making a fuss but I can't afford £30 for something that's not in the condition it's supposed to be in |

| Grrrr what a dirty cow!! (the seller, not you of course ) she should be ashamed of herself, I would never sell something dirty - in fact when I have given things away to charity or whatever I've made sure they were clean!! Hope you get something sorted xxx |

| Haha, glad it's not just me! Sold it on to someone else but i was very honest about the condition and asked her to view before buying. I'd cleaned most of it up so it looked better, and i showed her the stains/marks on the material, but she was fine with all of it and paid £25. So i lost a fiver, but at least it's gone! |
