We should currently be on our way to Heathrow to fly out to Australia for a 5 week holiday with our family. However, our flight has been cancelled and we are not able to fly out until next Sunday

Ah no that's awful, stupid snow, it's not even that bad around heathrow, ours has nearly all melted now, can't believe you have to wait a week!

I know it's crazy! I am astounded at how difficult it has been to get through to BA today and sort out alternative arrangements, it's rubbish. I was supposed to be flying out with my sister tonight, but now she is flying on Tuesday and i am on my own with the girls for next Sunday, unless i can co ordinate with my bro'!

Oh god that's so dissapointing!!! Really do try to co-ordinate with someone as you'll need a hand whilst travelling. I only did a 2.5 hour flight with Amelia by myself and it ended by us getting locked on the air field because she had a tantrum and we got left behind. It was traumatic! x

Thanks girls, not made any progress trying to co-ordinate with my brother. Will need to try and call tomorrow when hopefully the phone lines have calmed down.

Ah Lisa, i am slightly scared now!

Just spoke to my Dad (Mum and Dad are already out there) and he sounded really disappointed. It's horrible, i was being really positive about it all because i don't want to upset him, but just feel like crying now. At the end of the day we will all get to be together, so it could be worse but oh what a royal pain! x
