I've been doing biology for my course the last few weeks and today have sat down to do some home work, and actually WOW!!
I dont remember much about science from school (12years ago) and tbh i didn't care either.
Now i'm interested and taking it all in, every single cell in our body is just bloody amazing! lol

pointless post really, it just got me thinking about how much time i wasted at school back in the day, and how my frame of mind is sooooooooooooooo different!

i still have all my higher biology notes and books i kept them cause i still think its pretty interesting!

I know what you mean - when I watch programmes on the human body I am always WOWed!

me too - its true what they say though that youth is wasted on the young x

totally I think everyone should sit highers when they are older. I dont know how they would work it but I think the pass rates would be higher if the kids were older.

all my friends who have went back and re sat highers have got all a's x

Biology is amazing, a baby is created from a single cell and how do the sperm know where to go??? And what to do??? I've always been intereested in Biology but at school I refused to disect a frog (and walked out of class!) on grounds of it is against animal rights and what do we learn from it?? We are not frogs...

i went back later on and did some education and came out with 4 highers, i have maths, english, biology and a silly one from couple years ago - communications < iv still no clue to what benefit thats for?!! was a naff class and a skive and i walk out with a higher i agree the pass rates are much higher if we go back as slightly more mature adults!

Laura are you in Scotland? im trying to figure out the english equilivant? would it be a-level?

I really would reccoment going back to college if its possible, i'm so enjoying myself and i'm so much more interested and focused. Best thing ive ever done so far!
