I have been in bed all day as I'm in so much pain with my stomach and lower back. It feels like permenant contractions and is killing. I haven't been able to eat as it's knocking me sick, but I haven't had any of the nasties you would associate with really bad cramps. Everything has been normal in that department

Anyone have any idea's what's up with me? It's agony and feels like labour, I kid you not!

I was thinking appendix but the pain eases a little when I stretch and with your appendix it normally eases if you bend double. If I do that it makes it worse in my stomach.

I thought it was my IBS but this is totally different

Could it be a water infection? I had one once and my back and stomach killed, the docs thought i had appendicitis initially but it was just an infection. Also had high temp. Hope you feel better soon x

i would say appendix too . push on your right had side off ur tummy then relese does it hurt more when iu relese it?

my mum was i absoloute agony with her tummy, in bed for a full week not able to move cos of the pain and they put it down to a water infection!

Ooh not sure, but could be appendix, I know when I had it, I couldn't stand up with the pain, whereabouts in your tummy is it?

god yeah just reminded me of when i had a water infectoin once, i was in so much agony thought i was dying, like a really sharp pain! wasnt in my back but my sis gets it bad in her back when she has then. i didnt really have any opther symptoms either to suggest an infection xxx

No I don't think I'm preggers. If I was it'd only be massively early. I don't have a temperature, just these pains. It's weird, and bloody uncomfortable. Think I'll take my next lot of painkillers just before bed and see how I am in the morning. Dave's off tomorrow so I can get to the docs if needs be. Some family members have had a 24 hr sickness bug, but were vomming every hour and weren't in pain. Wondering if it's some sort of virus and this is the way it's displaying itself in my body.

Mandy the main pain is in the centre of my stomach by my belly button. In my back it's from my waist down. Just like contractions only they don't come and go

Lisa, I hope you are feeling better soon. My initial thought was a water infection but you say you haven't got a temp and would you have a temp with WI?? xx

it doesn't sound like appendix then, maybe try a warm bath, sometimes when my IBS is really bad I feel like I'm in labour, if you have a 24 hour chemist send Dave out for some Buscopan. Hope you feel better soon x

Im thinking severe IBS or cramps caused by something? Start of bug etc.

like Mandy says do you have Mebeverine (Colofac), or Hyoscine (Buscopan) in the house?? Those with some painkillers should get you some sleep!

I know it may sound Silly, but ive seen lots of ladies admitted to hospital with severe cramps caused by constipation/wind pains! Have you been regular lately .....You dont have to answer, just a consideration!

Other than that, lots of fluids incase a UTI is starting up.

P.s I also dont think it sounds like appendix, that pain normally starts on your right side going down to your hip, and literally gets worse by the minute/hr, until you know you need to get your arse in.....plus vomiting normally.

Wind and bowel stuff has been normal. I've been googling and I really think it's part of a virus. My tonsils are a bit swollen too. I would love to get hold of some buscopan. Might look online for a 24 hour pharmacy and send Dave out. It's so painful I keep cycling my legs whilst lying down. I tried sleeping all afternoon but was just too painful.

Woah the nearest 24 hr pharmacy is MILES away. Think I'll have to suffer tonight and send Dave out in the morning.

I've got some Rennie and gavascon, that's as good as it gets lol. I'll take my painkillers as they eased my stomach, just not my back. I reckon I'll get a bit of kip at least. I can sleep all day tomorrow if not x

Aww lisa hun hope you feel better soon hun. I have IBS and like Amanda says the pain can be so bad you almost pass out. Hope you get some sleep and if you don't feel better get yourself to the docs tomorrow xx

Hey ladies, thanks for checking up on me. Well I managed some sleep but then Dave was up all night throwing up! It's definitely a nasty bug. He was sick every half hour for 4 hours poor thing! I think my pain is because I have the bug but as I've not eaten and hardly had anything to drink there is nothing for me to bring up. I'd rather have the pain than the sickness. Only massive pain in the arse is that I still can't drive because of my stupid ankle and Dave's now too ill to go out to the pharmacy. So painkillers it is! And to top it all off AF is due any day so I'll have that pain too. Grrrrrreat!

Had to cancel 2 cake orders so lost out on 50 cupcakes and a small cake so nearly £100!!!!! Can't risk passing these nasties on and couldn't face cooking either. Bleugh!!!

Thank goodness for Grandma's though! MIL has taken Amelia for the day.
