| I dont think ive realised im getting a newborn either. Prob be about 21 weeks for me. Im preparing myself for an absolute torture but, so if the child does go 3-4 hrs between feeds and only screams for an hr or 2 at night i'l be happy! Another baby like Caitlin was in the early days and .... |

| Am I the only one who had a tiny baby that genuinely did NOT sleep alot. Caitlin fed every 2 hrs or so for about 45 min, screamed for 6 hrs a night and one day when she was 3 weeks old I shit you not was AWAKE or on my boob for 18/19hrs (I think I fed her 12/13 times that day, and yup she had a dummy ) For me things def improved when she was 3 or 4 months old! Im dreading the 1st few weeks! |

| to be honest after we had Stephen we swore we weren't going to have anymore, i think this is going to be a bit of a shock! snoops, Stephen used to feed for about an hour and a half at a time every 2 hours but i think I've blocked out the memories |

| haha no I wouldn't change a thing really just can't beleive how quickly it's going! no snoopy Tyler wasn't asleep all the time either, in fact he would only napy for 20 minutes at a time. I bottle fed so didn't have him constantly demanding my attention but when he got overtired he would just scream! why did we decide to do this again haha? Im hoping next baby will be a sleeper... and Im getting a vibrating chair this time so hopefully I can just leave him sleeping in it is that totally naive of me... I think so. |

Oh she's lovely! She also told me that Stephen sleeps too much, he needs to see the hv about his weight (he saw her to get weighed this week and yes he's on the 98th centile but that's what he was when he was born and is the same for his height so is perfect in my eyes! ) and he has stupid hair that needs to get sorted ( she has shaved her sons head since he was 1 which I don't personally like but would never say to her and Stephen has beautiful golden curls which no one is touching!!) Sorry bit of a rant there, why is she my friend again Jade I had a vibrating chair with Stephen and it was amazing! xx |

Erm my teeny tiny baby never slept other than the first night. After that we were basically onto 3 hours every 24! Jade my mum and sister reckon if you have a difficult first baby (by which it means they eat loads and don't sleep) you have an easy second one. Worked for both of them. I'm sure you'll be fine. Can't believe its going so fast though |

To be fair it was the milk allergy and her sore tummy/not feeling full because of it. She was a new baby when we switched to the special formula. Keep reminding myself that the new baby most likely wont have the same probs! Im really hoping I get the dream second baby people talk about (though I feel sad for Caitlin saying that! I still adore the wee terror lol!) |

| haha actually Tyler's pretty good almost all of the time so I think Im going to have a terror. he's already cheeky, kicking my with all his might until someone looks at me (I don't even need to move or talk) and he stops kicking. he's too clever for his own good already! Mrsmb your "friend" doesn't sound very nice |

| I have 4 1/2 wks left (i hope not longer!) and i am so unprepared for an actual baby. I'm convinced as Immi was such an angel baby this one is going to be a nightmare screaming day and night child.
How come you will be induced early?x |

| oh they just do that over here lol
when you get to 36 weeks they examine you weekly... I was 4cm dilated at 37 weeks he said come in on Saturday and if things have progressed we'll induce you. so I did, they had and so they booked me in on the Monday ot be induced 10 days early.
They lke to control it all here they would rather induce you than you go naturally I think. and they don't let you go overdue at all! |

| Thats odd, I went to be induced cus of BP at 40wks and as I was already 1-2cm dilated they said I couldn't be induced. I was told that inductions lead to higher risk of c-section and they said cause i was young they wanted to do all they could to reduce risk of emergency c-section. Funny how things are so different in each country |
