Dreampods / those duvet things that they wear! _
PostSubject: Dreampods / those duvet things that they wear!   Dreampods / those duvet things that they wear! EmptyWed Sep 22, 2010 3:38 am

Well, ours is known as his bean pod Smile Checked them out for size and will still just comfortably fit, couple of inches for room (they're 6-18 months). Will anyone be using them on their toddlers this winter?

His room gets very cold and although I think thicker curtains might help, I'm not sure I want to spend a hefty price tag for curtains that fit a window in a house we hope to move out of in the the 1-2 years! Plus I'm not convinced how much difference they would make?!

He's still in his cot and the move to cot bed won't be coming anytime soon, so a bonus would be that there is no chance he can get his legs stuck through the bars (managed that pretty badly a couple of times in the last few weeks Sad ) but downside might be if he finds it restricting and/or falls on the bars and hits his face on the railwhen trying to stand, if that makes sense?

Any ideas appreciated! xx

We have m&p ones too Smile

I guess we can always try them and see but wondered if they didn't work as well past a certain age - hadn't seen footless ones, ta, will bear them in mind if the originals don't work out x

We've spent a lot of money on Grobags in 18-36 months so I hope they still work! (Though like you we expect to get use out of them for child no 2 too, I chose unisex designs!) Apart from anything else they are so convenient when using travel cots. At the moment Seb seems quite happy in his, at bedtime we lay it on the floor and he goes and rolls on it (often with his head at the wrong end though). I can only see them being a problem if you are ready for potty training at night, and we're definitely not!

We have some but am wondering if Lily will tolerate them now she has been used to having her legs free etc in the warmer weather. Might give them a go when really cold but otherwise am going with the duvet x

Cerys is back in her winter tog ones already. I love them because i know she will be warm through the night and there are no blankets to kick off. I will be using them for as long as possible x

Wil has his bag on every night and has all the way through the summer. He throws off loose covers so we will be sticking with them for a while yet.

In warmer weather he just has his nappy and a bag. He has the bags that zip down the middle and so far he can't undo them and get to his nappy.
