I had the coil fitted on monday and was told no tampons for six weeks. Thing is i take Alfie to swim babes monday mornings.. do you think it's ok to wear one for one hour once a week while i go swimming? Knowing me i'll be bleeding for a good few weeks and these lessons worked out to have cost me around £11 a freakin lesson so i deffo don't want to waste them!!

Noo she didn't say she just said not to use them for 6 weeks. An hour or so a week won't do any harm will it?! x

I was told the same thing, though I should imagine that wearing one for an hour or so wont hurt will it??
Just be careful, clean hands etc.....though it might be worth ringing and asking just to be on the safe side

yeah, I would phone and check with them - it might be to do with the absorbancy of them (i.e. they might be designed to 'draw' blood into them, which would affect the placement of the coil possibly?)
