We really want to take Aimee (and baby) on holiday next year. It will have to be in the UK due to her heart checks and cant get her health insurance, etc. We havent ever really been anywhere in the UK on holiday as we would normally go abroad. Does anybody have any good ideas where to go that will be good for kiddies? x

I am just googling wales actually, as we had a wicked holiday in wales when I was younger. We went to Tenby and it was great (although there were tons of big white jellyfish on the sea shore!) We got married in Cornwall as James' family have a lot of history there, but im not sure if I want to go back there as they will want us to do loads of visiting and we really want it to just 'just us'. x

I have found some really cool places to stay. I think we are going to look at doing it for a week in June. Now I need to decide whether to book it now and hope Aimee's appointments/angioplasty doesnt clash, which I dont think they will, as her next one is March so if she needs it doing it will be April/May time. x

We did think about the Isle of Wight, but if anything went wrong with Aimee we wouldnt be able to jump in the car and get to whatever hospital she would need to get to, without getting on a ferry... which worries me a bit x
