| I used to do it a lot but they always either don't have something or completely miss it off and usually something I desperatly wanted! Also, when I go shopping I rummage at the back of the shelf for the stuff with better sell by dates on.
I always say that I'm going to get stuff like loo roll, kitchen roll, cat food, soap powder etc online once a month and then just go shopping myself form meat, dairy and veg.

| I voted instore, because the 2 times we have shopped online, we have either forgotten something, they have forgotten something or we have ended up getting yogurts and things like colselaw with only 2 days on the sell by date. Im like BabyMilly and rummage to the back for the best sell by dates and will only buy things like bananas if they are still green. xx |

| I prefer instore too.
I know online shopping is a good idea in the fact that you can sit and just type your shopping list in and you don't get tempted by things that arn't on your list etc
but..
I like going shopping and seeing the offers etc, getting the things that 'you' want, best dates etc and also if you go at the end of the day they reduce alot of the produce (meat and bread) |

| i prefer online by faaaaaar. i hate stupid supermarkets, especially with a baby, when someone can just bring me stuff i want haha. we get meat and fresh stuff locally whenever we can so for big shops (toilet rolls, jars, pasta, toothpaste, ketchup all that stuff) i order it online. i would be happy never to set foot in a tesco again we also spend LOADS less online, tesco give you good dates and if the dates are rubbish tell you at deliver so you can say 'no ta', and i dont have to carry it upstairs (p.s in the 5 years of working for tesco, the golden rule was, put the older dates at the front and back and leave the newest ones in the middle - they know everyone reaches to the back ) AND if i go instore people always try and touch my baby, which i cannot stand no, i dont want to tell you how old he is...yes he does have hair i had noticed...no we dont have a routine etc etc |

im the same, i am much more methodical online - plus i can watch how much the total goes up by! you can also request that they dont give you alternatives if there is stuff you really want (e.g a finest product that you don't want the normal alternative to) |
