| I was in the car today with Izzy, it was drizzling and the cars on the road were going relatively slow for that road, about 55!
All of a sudden the 4th car in front of me just swerved across the other lane, went up the embarkment on the other side and came to halt - his brake lights only came on as he hit the bank so I think he had fallen asleep, anyway as I passed he was getting out so was a heart attack or anything
Thing was that road is usually very busy and very fast and coming the other way was a highway maintenance vehicle with its flashing orange lights - going about 40mph and thank goodness the cars were behind him, the car was still only a few metres in front of it though!
If he wasn't there then there would have been a contrast stream of traffic and it would have been a big nasty pile up
I felt sick and almost started to sob, had to fight it, cos I thought had it have been just 10 seconds later he almost definitely would have hit someone head one - some inoocent person, my dad, my friend, any one just doing their normal day to day stuff then bang dead or seriously injured because some stupid sod fell asleep at the wheel. I all to well know the outcome of head on crashes, so it was horrible to think I nearly witnessed one |

| Oh Lisa! I understand why this sacred you and the emotions it must have awakened. I often mention to people that although i consider myself a safe driver, you never know what irresponsible driver you may meet on your journey. He was VERY lucky this time. Let's hope he doesn't ever let it happen again! X |
