| So those on my faceache will know I posted scan pics on Monday, NON of my family have liked them/commented on them, but I've just noticed my brother has 'liked' a mutual friends pic of their new baby!! Now this may sound petty but we haven't seen my brother or SIL since May, even though they only live about 6 miles away and virtually have to go past our road to see my parents (and they see them every couple of weeks). I text him weeks ago asking if they will be there and I'll pop round but didn't get a reply. We used to be so close, and I mean only last year he came and rewired our new bungalow for us. I just feel really hurt that he's not interested in his niece or the new baby xx |

| Have they got kids/trying for kids? I wouldnt take it to heart hun, we often go for long periods without seeing our siblings either. My brother (the one who lives in the UK) has only seen Aimee 3 times... and he fell asleep the first time he saw her! My brother in the USA sees her all the time on Skype. I just ignore them all now and get on with my own life. x |

| No Laura, they haven't got any children and no intention of having any either. It just hurts but I know I can't make them interested. I've just limited my profile for him and my SIL, I know it probs sounds petty but if they are not interested then it won't bother them, they probably won't even notice anyway though. Grrrr families - they really do my head!!! xx |

| I was wondering if maybe it was jealousy, but if they dont want kids, then maybe not. Very odd of them. I would try not to let it get to you. Unfortunately we cant pick our family x |

| I hate it when families make you wonder and second guess because of their neglect. You could always ask them if they "happened to notice" your new scan pics of their niece or nephew. Don't let it get ya down hun. xxx |

| It's definately not jealousy, they think they have the perfect life. Thanks Michelle. Jen, I would ask them but then I haven't spoken to them for ages and the last time is because I made the effect to ring them. Oh well, as far as I'm concerned they are the ones missing out, and it's their loss!! Thanks everyone xxx |

| families you cant pick them, apart from our close family, ie my dad, bro sil and his sister, the rest drive me crazy.
my uncles fell out years ago over the fact i was emotional at my moms funeral, its split the family and when my dad and us needed the most support.
i prefer friends i pick them and trust them, althoguh my best mate is my sil lol |
