how do u discipline you lo?
im really struggling evan has turned into a complete monster the more i say no or bad the more he wants to do it!
ive tried raising my voice, changing the tone of my voice, moving him away and firmly telling him no all to which he jst laughs at!!
ive now decided to start giving him a time out in the hall with the doors closed but he doesnt really understand this he is still a bit young and he thinks im jst locking him out and absolutely breaks his heart and wen i let him back in i explain why i put hiim out there and he will give mea cosy but again he doesnt understand he is only hugging me cos he is scared after gettin put in the hall!!
im really gettin to my wits end its not constant that he is bad but when he is he jst doesnt let up!! he has also started pulling my hair which again he finds hilarious!
im making him sound like a horror to which he isnt but he has his moments that im struggling to control

To be honest, Aimee can be a right brat at times - not often, but she can test me when she plays up.

I struggle with it because she spends the mornings at my MIL's and my mums. Im hoping that when I go on mat leave I can sort it out.

I do put her in her cot if she is really really naughty though, but we are doing the big bed thing tonight, so I am going to have to look at the naughty step, or naughty sofa seat soon.

Oliver goes on the naughty spot, which is usually the middle of any room. I will give him a firm no if he is doing something naughty/dangerous, second is a warning of the naughty spot, third - he goes on the naughty spot. There are times he will stay there for his 1.5mins, but on the odd occasion he thinks its highly amusing to keep running off, I will sit with him, between my legs, facing away..kinda holding/restraining him but not in a nasty way will sit with him for that time.

It is really effective for us..as when we started it, he was on the spot 4-5times a day..now were lucky if its 2-3times a week. x
