I have been trying to get my records from Aron's birth and his admittance to hospital 3 days later for the past 3 years and am still waiting! I was told to write to the hospital with all the details which I did 3 years ago and have chased it a few times over the years, but consultant has now said it would be useful to have the records. So I decided to chase it up again! The consultant advised me to contact the hospital PALS thingy, which I did!

Now they have decided I need to fill out extra forms and send proof of ID! Which is not a problem but they could have said it 3 years ago!! The major problem I have is they have now decided that they want £50 per file!! That's a £100!!!!! They are my blinking records how dare they ask for such a huge amount of money for them!!! Its not like there are any x-rays or anything in them!!!

I feel like they are fobbing me off and trying to get me to go away!! Am so so so pee'd off now!!

OMG, that is awful. I thought it was something like £10, not £50 per file!

My step mum is the head of Medical Records at our hospital so we just have to fill out a form (so its all done properly) and she can get us Aimee's (and our) records at any time.

I have got the forms and keep meaning to do it, so that we have a copy for her, but I am too lazy.

You have just given me the kick up the bum that I need.

I had a sausage and pancake meal but didn't have the syrup as I just didn't fancy it this morning!! Very random! I now feel stuffed and can barely move!! This baby is taking up so much room!!! Think I may have to have a lie down before I kick some butt!!!

Laura I really don't envy you having to go out to work at this stage of pregnancy!! I am trying to do some studying and bits for my governor role and nothing is going in!!!

Yeah, I am thinking I made a big boo boo in saying I would stay until 19th Nov. I (we ) will be 37.5 weeks by then

I only do 3 hours a day here, but I am getting pretty exhausted from it and then running around after Aimee when I get home.

I'm trying to get my medical notes from hospital too because I've made a complaint about my son's birth and discovered that stuff had been lied about in my notes. They've told me that I've got to pay £50 for each set too and I think it's absolutely disgusting! I hope you get it sorted xxx

Eeeeek 19th December!!! and 37.5 weeks!!! OMG!!! I could be half a week away from having a section by then!!! They have said it will be at 38 weeks ish!! I am scared now!!!

I still can't believe we are 32 weeks already!! I have another scan, an anaesthetic review and then the consultant appointment and then they will decide my fate!!!

Well I phoned the PALS helpline and left a message!! Am a little deflated now cause I was ready for a good argument!!
