Alfie has started waking up at 5am every morning crying for his dummy and i wasnt sure why. Turns our tht Gav has been putting him to bed with his dummy every night since i broke my arm (hes took over his night time routine until my arm gets better).This has annoyed me as id managed to get him to self settle ever since he was 3 months old as i hated the fact of keep having to pop the dummy back in during the night if it falls out.

The thing is he knows i dont use a dummy on a night unless hes not very well - men just dont listen!! grrr!

now once i get my arm back into working order im gonna have o try and get himback into the routine of not using his dummy!

obv im the one that has to get up during the night too as Gav works from 6.30!

hide them all so he cant give him one tonight then he'll have to deal with the crying and you can say well its your own fault

I would be annoyed as well. I took Lewis's dummy away for same reason. X

exactly im going to. he pleaded ignorance tho which is th most annoyng thing! why not just say it was easier to settle him. thing is with gav is, if Alfie isnt asleep within 2 mins he thinks he not going to go and will put his dummy in. Normally i put his light display on which last for 10 mins and by the time its finished hes asleep but gav is too impatient to wait!
