And Caitlin has been discharged Very Happy I can still ring and make a dietician appointment in 6 months if I need futher advice or if her weight gain slows once she off her formula. They are happy I am managing her diet well & that im slowly introducing dairy. Yesterday she ate a whole yoghurt with no reaction.

At the hospital today the consultant thought she should be fine with cows milk so I went to cafe and bought a carton. I let her drink 1oz from her sippy cup, unfortunately during the dietician app she came out in a rash on her tummy. The consultant checked her over & said that I should stick to introducing milk in foods for a while and slowly try milk as a drink again in cpl months. Was a bit disappointed/worried when rash came out but at least it didnt go further than a rash (was only a small amount I suppose), and I wont freak out so much about her taking some by accident from another kiddies cup.

Going to try her with pancakes tomorrow. Im so excited about her eating new foods and relieved her weight and height are good. Think she was about 24lb and 78cm which is 50th centile for height and 75th for weight. She turning into a fatty Laughing as it used to be the other way round eg ave weight and above ave height....

Sorry I know this was trivial.. Lots of LO's on here see consultants for serious reasons. I know how lucky I am the only problem I had was an allergy and I am so thankful that it looks like it is getting better Very Happy . x

Aw that's brilliant news about having the yogurt with no reaction - shame about the milk, I suppose you've just got to take it slowly.

Must be great knowing she has been signed off as well and thats great about her height and weight (she weighs more than Libby Very Happy ).

Chuffed for you hun xx

Thanx Susan. Libby is a dainty wee fairy queen . I used to think Caitlin was quite skinny, obviously not, you can see her ribs when she stretches though Rolling Eyes . At least they are both healthy & happy and thats all that matters Very Happy

My friends LO is 17mths and weighs 35lb!!! Shocked He is so tall but, his dad is 6ft 8!

It's not trivial at all, Caitlins allergy was really serious! I'm so glad it looks as though she'll be able to have a normal diet x
