| have you got a syringe for the meds?? If you have, what i do is lay Cerys flat on her back, pretend im putting dummy in and then shove the syringe in her mouth. while im squirting it in, i gently picnh her cheeks together so she HAS to swallow - good luck xx |

| Oh no, poor Tyler! Have you tried the syringe. Doesn't stop them from spitting it out but it is more fun for them than the spoon.
Hope he gets better really soon hun x x x |

| god with Rowan being ill so often i have some tips!!
If he is using a bottle.
clean out the bottle and teat. then get the measure of meds and put your finger over the teat end and pour the med into the teat. keep it upside down and put the end of the bottle on. keep it upside down then pop it into his mouth and he'll think you've given him some milk and by the time he realises he would have taken it all. |

| we did get a syringe yes we manged to get the first lot down him but takes two of us, one to hold him down and the other to squirt. he doesn't really take much out of his bottle only has 1 in the morning he just refuses it no matter what's in it (even tried chocolate milk and he didn;t want it - and this was way before he was ill haha) poor thing im sure he'll be better by Monday now that we've got some meds for him x |

| I sometimes lie c down on my lap, put one arm under my right arm pit behind my back and use my right arm under her head to hold her other arm then use the syringe. She has now worked out though that mummys gonna give her the medicine one way or the other and is getting pretty good about the spoon |

| A good tip when using a sringe is to put it in the cheek area. Aimee had her meds 3 times a day with this and this way it doesn't touch their taste buds so don't feel the need to spit it out.
Hope he is better soon x |
