I'm probably going to come across as a right biatch now and I don't mean to but when it comes to friends (virtual and real life) I get quite sensitive.

I know that friends and foes is just a bit of lighthearted fun but I found myself not adding too many for fear of rejection. You see on the dreaded FB I got 'dropped' by a couple of ladies on here one of whom I had (IMOP) offered support and advice over the past year. Apparently, I'm not supposed to take that to heart, but I just can't help it.

I don't write on FB a great deal, but there are a few ladies who I chat to regularly. Thing is when I go to a 'friends' page and fine I am no longer a 'friend'...I feel rejected.

I know, I know....I'm probably just too sensitive and a silly cow, but I can't help it....that's just me. I've had a lot of problems with friends and bullying in my childhood and adult life and I guess this how it's affected me! x

Arrr hops I don't think you're a biatch at all I think those feelings are quite normal. I hardly requested any friends as i think I'd worry about rejection. But I'm always made up to get a friend request and accept it . Can't really comment on the fb thing as I am the only person on the planet who ain't got one!

Hops why dont u just say it was me And i asked u not to take it personally as i took everyone from other site off my fb ! As i wasnt sure who was who and who wanted to be freinds for pure noisey ness !!! Actually this is how bad it fot with knowing who was who !!! It was only when i come on here and you did that ibrwlises which jo you were! I told people to re add me if they wanted to be freinds !! I still do only have freinds from here an non others !! Also when i did delete others from othersite !! Im glad as i got nothig but abuse from them

Jo I don't think you are over sensitive (and def not a silly cow) I'm a bit the same tbh. I don't ever check my FB friends list for that reason - I do sometimes realise that I haven't seen a status from someone for a while so search them to see what they're up to and find I've been deleted I know I shouldn't but I do tend to take it personally and worry myself that I've done/said something to upset them.

I've been deleted by a few people who have said 'readd me if you want to be my friend' now I don't want to offend anyone here but there is no way I'm adding anybody twice - I'm not gonna beg for your friendship - if you wanted to be my friend you wouldn't have deleted me in the first place OR you would readd the people you want and I'm obviously not one of them so that's no great loss to me. I actually see it as a bit of a cry for attention tbh - I always get excited when someone adds me on here or fb (sad but true ) but I'm not about to delete everybody and tell them to readd me so I feel popular again.

Emma - obviously that isn't aimed at anybody here as this is a friendly site and I've never been your 'friend' on here or fb but starting a post like this is going to disapoint/upset/aggrivate people because most would read the OP and go straight to their friend list and find they haven't been added. People who feel they have maybe spoken to you and helped/advised you may feel rejected by this. Just a thought.
