Ok..my baby sister..who I adore..cannot keep a eff'ing secret! I showed her my plans for my yard and window display months ago, reminding her to keep it to herself..what does she do? Not only does she direct her ex-nosy neighbors to what I am doing..she provided the details down to a tee! Ran into her neighbor today at the store picking up last minute stuff..and she went on and on about what she and her hubby were doing in their yard..and it was pretty much an exact replica of what I have planned..after going on for about 5 mins..she said..Oh yeah..I have to thank your sister for all the useful info she gave us! I almost wanted to kick this old hags teeth in! I know it's Halloween..but I take huge pride in it and plan months in advance for it, for the kids, and it pisses me off that noone can come up with their own originality..they have to steal ideas! Sorry..no need to respond..just venting!

My mum use to be exactly the same with Christmas when we all lived there, The neighbour across the road use to buy exactly the same things we had the year before and copy her, It drove my mum insaine!!

LOL! Thanks hun! Just pissed me off so much to learn that my sister..who bitched and complained about them the past few years tipped them off. I've busted my ass researching..coming up with ideas, and to have them flipping steal it..I'm just letting everyone know that they are copycats and are pathetic. I know I'm pathetic, but I love love love Halloween and love to do this for all the kids in town who look forward to coming to my house every year! xxx

NO..the little douche moved away over a month ago, but before she did, she spilled the beans to these social outcast neighbors. Have you ever seen the Far Side comic strips? That's who they remind me of!

They won't be needing much in the way of a costume then
Only ask re:box as, if you get alot of visitors / lookers, people can donate and you also have a lovely moral highground over the chumps next door

The kids already do a UNICEF box for Halloween here, so have a change bucket to drop in donations alongside the treats. I've seen those donation boxes in the big city displays, and they are a lovely idea.
