I have a cheapy blood pressure monitor from Lloyds Chemist but my MW keeps slating it and I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a decent one!!

Ive got the boots arm cuff one.....its always matched very well with my 'official readings'
It was about £40 i think, i recommend it x

they do mine did but..... when i was preg with jj i had symptoms of pre eclamp so i nick my nan cheap bp monitor its from chemist too £14.99 so i checked my bp and it was sky high so i rushed in and the mw was like they dont always tell the right reading so she checked it agin and it was very close i think it was about 1 or numbers out. personally i trust them well that one i do! x

apparently you can ask at your hosp to get em calibrated, i was advised to use my home one twice a day and no ones even asked to see what it is. had a wrist cuff last time and they are crap so this has gotta be better
