Although I have no idea why.   The point of this post is for mums to be aware of "CONVICTED" pedophiles That have been reported in press in the county they live.   It does not list all pedophiles but it's a way forward in raising awareness to parents.  It's a LEGAL SITE.  Hopefully the Mods here will allow this to be viewed.

I had a look on the site last night and was pleased to see that the guy who raped a 15 year old girl in my work car park was jailed for 10 years. One word - Justice!

They must just trawl the papers and add details that way,

They haven't yet added the guy I sat opposite at work - I think he would be on the list as he was 'grooming' a young girl over the internet

There is one guy listed in our area who lives about 500m away from my house! His son stabbed him when he found out he was downloading indecent images.

The paedo got a suspended sentence and his son got 7.5 years... something very wrong with that if you ask me!

It's a total Joke to be honest what they get!  The survivors have to live with these horrible vile things in their heads for rest of life. As do the family and friends of survivors future love ones etc.   But they are not victims of these bastards and hopefully this site is a start in the right direction.   However it would be good if we're allowed to know all the sex offenders in areas. one day...   That's all a whole new topic, at least we have access if we think our neighbor or someone we're not too sure of we can search them on that site.  This does not mean they will be listed....

OMG... one couple in my area actually bribed £18k out of a teacher as he had abused their 4 year old son!!

They spared him jail if he paid them the money!

I have just been reading them all out to my OH and we are so shocked! But so glad to actually be aware of it!

I agree with it because they are convicted.

However I do disagree with open lists were it is people who have been acused of things and not proven guilty. I think thats dangerous. That site looks like its managed responsibliy. Thanks for info. One man about a mile from me was jailed for raping a teenager. Vile people.

the disgusting thing is...the woman that joined in with his abuse...she got 3 1/2 yrs...after the court case they let her home for xmas(after being found guilty and sentenced) on the condition that she had to serve the full time...well she got out at the beginning of november, after serving only a year and a half, and is freely wandering about in my home town

That is totally disgusting! What right did she have to celebrate Christmas? Christmas to me is about children and she helped rob people's childhoods. And then to let her out early anyway . I honestly think that even when ppl serve full sentences they should be banned from the area they lived/ their victims (or survivors!!!) live.

i get nightmares, insecurity, suspicion etc...fair exchange!! that report doesn't cover even half of the stuff he did...besides the sexual abuse he beat each of us at least once(me when i was about 7 or 8, so badly i was black and blue for weeks) he'd force us to watch horror movies and then go sit at the top of a dark staircase while he taunted us about the ghosts getting us(i get hysterical in the dark now) he forced us to watch porn, he'd bash in wardrobes with us stood inside, dangled my brothers from the bannister by their feet, made us stand in front of dart boards while he threw darts at us(he's blind don't forget)
so i think 10yrs is f*ck all and the 'justice system' can rot

That is utterly horrendous . I cant even begin to imagine how terrifying that must have been for you at the time and also, if this makes sense... how terrified you must be for your own children about paedo's. I worry about Caitlin but in a way I still feel kind of safe that it couldnt happen to me or my family - which is clearly wrong, it can happen to anybody.

I dont know your full story. Do you mind me asking how you knew him? Was he related? sorry if you've said before.

The justice system is appauling. He should be locked up for life in a cell with a bed and a hole in the ground. x

he was my mother's partner, they got together when i was about 10months old(she was with his brother first) and first 'suspicions' were raised by my biological dad when i was about 3...i apparently told kev(my dad) that he liked to play the blanket game and touch me

the blanket game was when he'd get about 3 or 4 of us under a blanket(usually on the bed) and have our dog jump up and try and bite us through it, he'd smack the dog about, make it playful so it'd bite us, and while that was happening he'd start touching

he was given life with a minimum of 10yrs, but after letting her out early that means sh*t
