Can i put calpol in a bottle? Reason im asking Lewis has a slight raised temp and wanted to give him some more calpol at 10.30 when oh does a dream feed but dont want to wake him up to give it x

if you had a syringe you could do it without waking him - or even a spoon if you are a stealthy medicine ninja....

I dont see why not?!!! The only problem would be if he doesnt finish the bottle - You wont know how much hes taken properly as it will settle in the bottle a bit (because it is heavier than the milk)

As long as you dont give any more for at least 4hrs, even if he doesnt finish the bottle, then i cant see it causing any harm at all.

I used to give Jaiden meds in a bottle teat not mixed in with the milk tho Just get the normal bottle on stand by and b4 u give the bottle just put the right amount in another teat and give him that 1st then swap over quik with the milk jobs a goodun XX

I was told by my gp when Beth was a pain for taking meds, that mixing it into a bottle was fine, But i never did as i couldnt garentee she was taking what she needed, so i would use a second teat put it into that first then quickly swap to the formula x
