I still haven't got my blood results back, been waiting 12 weeks now! My consultant who has buggerd off on leave untill after christmas warned me that if they werent back I needed to be on blood thining injections anyway because he's almost certain that I've got a blood disorder going by my history and the size of the blood clots behind Ollies placenta. (previous blood clots/swelling of the legs leaving me unable to walk and I had very severe blood poisoning when I was 3 that left me in hospital for 7 months)

I'm refusing to go to my gp as when I got my bfp I went and explained everything to her then she asked me to repeat everything 5 times before basically calling me a liar and saying it was the pre-e that caused Ollie's death! While it was the pre-e that actually made the placenta detactch it wouldn't have happened or at least not as quickly if the clots werent there. Why the hell would I lie, it's not like I'm looking forward to injecting myslef everyday When I told her the consultant wanted me on injections the day I got my bfp, she told me 'no he didn't mean that' WTF! How does she know what he ment!

My blood pressure has gone through the roof which the consusltant told me could happen if the cotting issue was left untreated I went to town earlier with my sister for an appointment and when I came back it was 146/102, which is far to high my bp is nomally 110/60ish. I phoned the hospital but they wont see me because the bloody doctor hasn't sent my referal off, and to top it all of shes booked my scan at the wrong hospital! I swear I'm ready to kill her!

They can be pretty useless can't they. Hope you get it worked out soon hun. Its crap they're messing you about x

Can you not see another doc at your surgery, or better still, call your consultants secretary who should be able to pull your file and pass it on to another one in his/her absence. You can't wait until after Xmas to get this sorted, and you shouldnt have to x

The problem is I'm transferring hospitals so I think thats complicating things althoguh it shouldn't really it's not like I've had a booking in appointment or anything!

Hey hon. Right first off whats your bp doing today? Hard as it is stay calm, being stressed will only raise it. Id ring the midwives office or day assessment unit and explain to them your history and whats going on. If your consuktant said that there will be documentation in your notes that they can access and gp cant. Also ring your consultants secretary and raise hell, even if hes on holiday there will be another consultant covering his caseload. Ask to speak to them or to his registrar (next doctor down) who can also access your notes and make these choices for you

Thanks hun, it's so confusing because I'm just being passed from one department to another without any answers! I'm going to ring round again Monday to see if I can get some sense out of someone!

I've just remebered I'm still in contact with the bereavement midwife, so I'm going to give her a ring aswell and see if she can get anywhere because she'll know who to speak to better than I do.

The early pregnancy unit in the hospital I'm being transferred to is a drop in clinic so I think if me or the midwife don't get any answers then I'll pop in Wednesday, that should be plenty of time for them to have gotten the referral.

I've been in bed all day and my bp seems to have stabilised at 130/90, so I'm going to rest over the weekend untill I can get to see someone
