for that link - elijah has sat for half an hour now (only crying once when he toppled over) with his little box of treasures - and a pan. him and his blanket are completely drenched in dribble because he is concentrating so hard, and i am fighting the temptation to 'help' him play haha i have NEVER known him to sit so quietly and contentedly thankies!

awwwwww glad he likes it!
I used to have 2 boxes of stuff and swapped them round every so often
Things she especially loved which he might too were things with lids, zips, holes etc

at the moment the rubber/wooden whisk, the pan and the little weaning pot are high favourites - anything that he can chew i think haha i found an old shaving brush and some sponges and stuff but might leave them a bit til he is more discriminatory in what he will eat! might see if i can find a bit of velcro or similar though
