I need a moan!
I reeeallly don't like my house - well, it's a flat, and it's tiny and drafty, the kitchen is rubbish, there are no counters
just the draining board,so it's so hard to prepare any meals, because there's no space to chop things, arrange things, can't put anything down
There's only 4 kitchen cupboards, one of which we can't use as it's full of plumbing, we had to buy a seperate dresser for plates/cups etc.. Worst of all is everything is so low that there's no high surface to put kettles etc, so Milo can already reach them
The gas hob is really low too, so I can't have him in the kitchen with me while i cook because it woud be so easy for him to injure himself. But he's really clingy at the moment, and goes mad if i shut him in the lounge to cook dinner - so I have no idea how or when I'm supposed to cook
There's only the kitchen, living room and bedroom (and bathroom), so no space to explore, and none of us can escape from each other
The only storage space is those rubbish kitchen cupboards, and one closet in the bedroom, that's it. If we put in more warbrobes/dressers it would suck up all the space in the room, so we have nowhere to put anything..
There's only one crappy heater, that's in the living room, so you freeze you testimicles off going to the loo or getting in/out of the bath..
The washing machine is only plumbed into the cold water, (normal in Japan) and there's no oven, or means of installing one in the kitchen so everything i cook has to be fried or boiled
Oh, and freezing cold drafts come through the light switches
What makes it worse is I'm looking for houses to rent in England and they're all gorgeous!!
I WANT TO COME HOME!!!
But still, only 3 and a bit months to go! Woop!
