an E book where you download books to it, i wanted 1 last year but they were too expensive for us

I think my sis got me one. she said shes got me one thing thats about 100 quid. and when i mentioned it to my mum yesterday she was like "yeh right yeh seen that advertised it looks good" and changed the subject. but she didnt know what to get me so I think she would say she would have bought me it. I really want it now

Seriously - connect an extra piece of hardware called a keyboard and get it £200 cheaper. Although having said that if you do get one I'll be coming round to play on it

I have the kindle app on my iPhone and it works just the same - obviously a much smaller screen but it's great! you can also get apps for iPad, android phones, all mac comps, windows etc.

I would have thought the books would be a fair bit cheaper tbh as they are cutting the printing/distribution costs by downloading but the one's I have bought have been pretty similar to the hard copy books. It may be because they are newish ones though?

You can get a lot of the 'classics' free too if you like them (Alice in wonderland, sherlock holmes, pride and predjudice etc etc) just have a search through the Amazon kindle store.

It's great for me coz although you can't beat a proper book, I have tons of them just gathering dust and nowhere to store them so saves space and dusting and because it is backlit I can read at night without disturbing Paul or in the car at night (as a passenger obviously ).
