My nephew is only 4 months old and his mum's stupid sister bought him an advent calendar, and guess what, my SIL is giving him the chocolate every day, before he's even been weaned properly on solids. What a *$%£ idiot she is, it makes me sad. The thing is she is a nursery nurse and should know better, she even gave Harry a full milky bar when he was four months, when she was babysitting and she wasn't even gonna tell me!!

Harry's got two advent calendars, both Thomas lol both nannas bought him one. He has the chocolate from one and Rob has the choc from the other lol. I don't think a bit of choc hurts, but to give him it before hes even weaned on solids is ridiculous!!

4 months is ridiculous. A taste, a nibble - maybe - but a whole chocolate every day?! Holding it for him?! Not needed, not nutritious and downright daft in my opinion! Why not let him have a spoon of sugar the rest of the year eh, he'll probably like that too I hope his nappies are delightful and he sleeps about 1hr at a time, but chances are slim
