didnt think Id ever say it. but its doing my head in!
my boss who I actually speak to quite a lot and thought we got on well said to me yesterday
"you could walk to work steph. would probably take you about 50 minutes each way but its do-able"
I was like not really. I dont have time to walk to work and back each day. so he says
"oh yeh you have to get your little boy from nursery dont you"
so I correct him and to be fair he was mortified because I have spoke to him about hannah on many occasions. so today he told me he was telling his wife what he said and she basically made him apologise to me today. and then he turns around to another member of staff and says "can you give hannah that injection"
meaning to say a dog called clyde??? he then got all embarrassed again and it was really awkward.
later on he asked me to look in a book for some information and said to the vet student (who isnt even half way through her course yet) "you read that for me because you will be more likely to know what it means"
also posted a few weeks ago about the lazy bint they employed? well I now have to go on a course to learn how to be more assertive so I can feel confident in bossing her around.
I dont get paid enough to act like a senior member of staff. but on the other hand I dont get paid enough to do a 2 person job while someone stands there doing *$%£ all. so its a catch 22 situation really. Just have to start being bossy which in turn makes me feel like a biatch! why cant people just do the work they are hired to do!
