Dont know if you ladies remember, but I was cleaning/taking an old lady shopping - I never charged her for petrol and helped her carry her shopping, etc

Anyway last thursday as I was dropping Izzy off at MILs, before going to this old ladies house, I slipped on the ice and broke my fall by putting hands out and fell on the bumper of the car...ouchy

So rang work and asked them to tell her I wouldnt make it.

She demanded I go on Monday, so I said I'd try...Monday comes and still no better, was worse in fact, so said will have to just wait til Thursday

Monday and Tuesday I get really rude shitty messages from this old lady left on my home answer phone - demanding to know why I hadnt been and blar blar

Then today get a text to say she doesnt want me to help her any more

F'ing charming! How the bleeders did she think I was going to help her round the shops (she has to hold me arm) and carry her shopping with a bad wrist?! Have been to minor emergencies tonight and they agreed with what a couple of people told me, in that it sounds like a fractured scaphoid bone , so have put my wrist in a splint and have to go back next week for another xray as apparently it doesnt show on xray for 2 weeks

I had bought this old lady an xmas present too...so thought tomorrow seeing as now dont have to take her shopping, I will go to the garden centre by her house and then drop by with her present and tell her very nicely why I hadn't been (she knew as work called her) and give her the present...see what an ungrateful old bag she realises she is!

Funny thing was I had already decided after the nasty messages she left on my phone that I wasn't going to help her anymore...but hadnt got round to saying so!

My neighbour is an old grouch through all the snow we've had recently I knocked or sent one of the boys to knock to see if she needed anything... I knocked every other day for about 8 days and she eventually told me not to knock again and to leave her alone.. . I was gobsmacked... I really hope we get really bad snow as he sons don't bother with her why the blooming he'll should we
