i dont really know cos our post was off for a week so its reasonable that things are late - our post is coming twice a day just now though, letters in the morning and parcels in the afternoon - we have also had parcel deliveries the past 2 sundays but i think they are just trying to catch up

me too ! its the same with couriers, i ordered stuff from mothercare on the 1st and it still not been despatched, they say new orders will be received in 4 days but previous orders will be guaranteed for christmas, i don't see the logic in that. Plus they won't let me cancel the order so I can buy instore instead.

Yeah ours is running well behind too. Thomas hasn't received a fair few birthday cards and is waiting on a few presents too I am waiting on a few parcels - mostly amazon orders - that I ordered over 2 weeks ago but to be fair our posties seem to be working their socks off to clear the backlog. I am also supposed to be getting 2 new sofas this friday which has been put off till next week now but with more snow forecast tomorrow and into the weekend I don't know if we will get them? I will be gutted if not xx

the mothercare order is the one i need, my brother got me to choose ava's presents from him, its all ELC stuff, he's coming up here for Christmas so i'll feel really bad if they don't arrive. There's a really cheeky message when you try to phone which basically says don't bother hanging on we won't do anything for you.

My virgin + box took a week longer than it should have, OH was not impressed! That was through HDNL though. Also amazon took 5-6 days to arrive instead of the usual 2 days with royal mail 1st class tracked. It is annoying how they are putting new post through ahead of back log. I dont get the logic. We only had 1-2 days without post but the problem seems to be that the things are sent through scotish distribution centres to NI and they were one of the worst areas hit. We due for really bad snow here this weekend so there will prob be more delays early next week. Im not waiting on anything though.... well my SS but I understand that if its late it cant be helped! x

| Im waiting for 2 packages from amazon, 1 was ordered 9 days ago and estimated delivery was meant to be yestesday. The other package I ordered last friday was dispatched yesterday and says the estimated delivery is 22nd december My brother also sent me a christmas card first class that took 6 days to get to me.
