i know that people posted what their little ones eat before (i still refer to it, what a geek ), im just wondering what people think of these quantities for a 71/2 month old:

breakfast - halfish stage 2 jar with halfish different stage 2 jar

lunch - halfish stage 2 jar plus halfish stage 2 jar and a baby biscuit or a couple of rice cakes

tea - 3-4oz ebm/formula/milk into porridge/weetabix/baby cereal

with on demand bfs in between.

i know it's the wrong way round but it means if he has a new thing and gets tummy ache he gets it in the day not the night works for us for now! do you think this is enough? would you give snacks yet???

eli rarely refuses food so i have to decide when he is full...the quantities are just estimates cos quite often i make yogurt + fruit, mashed potato + lentils, pasta etc so its just an idea of amounts....i suppose just over a stage 2 jar per meal? is that enough???

Alfie gets-and has done for the last month or so: brekkie-weetabix/porridge with 2oz milk. Dinner-stage 2 jar plus a yog tea-stage 2 jar plus baby biscuit. He sometimes gets snacks in between depending if he's hungry or not or if were eating.sounds about right to me!x

hmmm that sounds about the same - he has loads of cereal but usually eats it all and isn't sick or anything, so i guess that amount suits him, i think he just really likes it

could u try his new foods at lunch time instead of breakfast?

amounts sound about right - you will know when he is ready for snacks as he just won't be able to hold out until his next meal

at the moment he just goes for the boob he generally gets brekkie about 11am then lunch about 2 and 'tea' about 6 or 7 because our routine is still several hours out from everyone else so it's no bother really having it the wrong way round - now that he has tried most major things i will move it back round soon - after eggs!
