| I have to do it... We need a thread for positive folks. Those of us who focus on the positive because life is too short to be anything else. The door is always open to the lovely folks who want to become positive and just don't know how. As Wil says continuously "happy, happy, happy" |

| Lisa - banning but is a good start, ban hope, wish and try too because none of these words helps you
Give yourself a positive mantra and write it down so it is the first thing you see everyday when you wake up. Find something that means something to you.
Then write a list of everything you are grateful for and carry it with you. |

| If anything bad happens I always try to see the positives Mum says I'm positive about everything she says I always seem to find the positive in everything (I was on a downer the other day though) and I think that no matter what happens in life there has to be a positive somewhere? I fell over MJ's toys the other day and hurt the tendon in my foot but... that meant that I didn't (couldn't) walk the missions to the shop to top up the electric key AND hubby bought me a bottle of coke and 2 Wispas back so that's my positive for the day |

| I'm aiming to be miss positive of Stevenage by the end of the year lol! Feeling positive about it already actually! (I won't mention my mega strop and mood this morning ) I've Brought a special hard back note book that I keep all my good things in, I have a few sayings to help perk me up if needed, a list of what I'm grateful for, pictures of things a visualise for myself and my family, and of course a couple of pictures of happy days for me with my boys and oh. If I feel poo I look at it o pop a song on and I'm all good!! |

| Kell your idea of a book sounds fab Sorry but can I steal that idea? Sometimes my hubby has a tough time with depression (he had a sad childhood) and I'll make one for him for his birthday in Dec and leave pages blank for him to add things as our family grows. I got a piece of paper and decorated it and wrote on it (not in lines, just randomly all over) I wrote all the reasons of why I love him so when he's feeling down he can open up that piece of paper and feel all happy again I love the expression on his face as he reads it even though it is getting dog eared now cuz of being read a million times |

| The book idea is great. I am on book 2 and write everything down good or bad. Just reading what I wrote often corrects the feelings. I have put the story of how I became positive in the blogs section so you can all read it |

| Fraz the secret is brilliant! Ive got it in my dvd player atm and try to watch it once a week if i get the time, its the reason i have my book that i talked about! ive only been using it as a tool for about a month i'd say and already i am noticing changes in my mood and my life! it feels good to be positive! ive had the odd day here and there where i dont really know how to turn the moods off but its far far less than before! I have some of the quotes from the people on the dvd in the book and thought the best way for me to visualise what i want is to have it there for me to see in picture form.
Mummy- of course you can nick the idea! if it helps your oh its all good! i may pinch your idea if thats ok lol! The book i have is actually perfect for what i use it for, i got it from tk maxx i was looking for a kinda 'pretty' one for myself and i came across this one, on the covers it has 'Dream' and 'inspire' on it, i thought it was very apt!

| Terri I prescribe The Secret to so many people because it is amazing - finally someone put the Law of Attraction into a format that most people can appreciate.
Kell - your days when you can't switch off the moods may still be baby hormone related. Baby hormones affect you until your LO is at least 1 year old in most cases. Wil was almost 14 months before I felt totally back in control. |

Gosh what we do to ourselves to have children lol As my coach said to me when Wil was 5 months old...what is 2 years out of your life when you produce something that will last 80 + years. Each baby you have will take 2 years from you when you are not yourself and are simply a life support machine for them. Feeling my usual great self today |
