this is advice for my friend as she is havign some trouble!!

shes tried him with a bottle but just wont suck at all. he obv doesnt mind the taste of the milk as he will take it in cereal etc she has tried different times of day, her OH has tried but he just chews on the teat.

have u got any tips on how she can get him take it from the bottle as shes getting worried she will be b/f him for life ha!!

she could try expressing and putting that in a bottle, then letting it leak out a little so when her little one had it in their mouth they have a familiar taste? also, elijah still uses size 1 teats if he ever uses a bottle, the mam ones are really small so maybe more ahem nipply Laughing

thanks. he will drink water out of a cup but only sip but he wont take milk!! she has tried expressing but cant get enough out - only about 3oz at a time which isnt very useful!!

shes using tommee tippee bottles and ive suggested maybe moving to next size teat as maybe hes trying to suck too hard to get milk and giving up? i think she is going to just keep on trying to get him used to it!

3oz is plenty to just get him started and used to using a bottle Smile
