Sorry prob in the wrong place but need advice please.

Been up since 5.30am not feeling quite right....went to the loo and noticed some of my plug has come out...thought not too much of it as I know you can lose your plug and nothing happen. Been sat here browsing the forum and could feel myself dribbling down there (sorry tmi) popped to the loo again and could here it dripping in the loo, I wiped and more of my plug has come away. Decided to put a pad in just to keep an eye on things and it seemed to stop.....now I can feel it coming out again and I have mild back ache.

Could this be my waters and do you think it's worth giving the MW a call?

ooooh sounds like the start of things to me (I was induced so don't know) but your doing the right thing with the pads.

They can test to see its ure waters from that

Don't panic hun! Sounds like the start of things to me hun but no need to fret. It could just be your plug coming away - mine varied between big blobs and watery stuff throughout the night. However I was actaully in labour having regular contractions at this point so different situation. It definately wouldn't hurt to give your mw a ring though hun. She will probably tell you to carry on as you are for a while tbh but from my own experience it made me feel better that they knew what was happening. Ooh so exciting!!!!!!! xx

Oooh i think its starting x altho i started losing plug in the wednesday and contractions didnt start untill thursday evening but i leaked like u frm the thursday night x

Sounds like it could be the start naynay!!

Just having myself an innocent browse - this has certainly woken me up

If you think it's waters the MW / labour ward will probably want to see you to check that it is - and probably monitor baby and you (plus the machine they put on for you will show if you've started mild contractions yet ) so you need to have a word with someone, for reassurance if nothing else.

As they've not gone in a gush though it might take a bit longer to establish - I would say there was about 6 hours between my waters going and knowing that contractions and pains were getting steadily stronger - then whole plug went - that was with a lot of waters at once though and was after a journey to and from hospital.

How exciting - yet how muchly I am crapping it that my number's up next

i lost little bits of my plug throughout the week leading up to labour, didnt have what your describing till i was about 9cm dilated. sounds promising...cant wait to hear back from you xx
