we asked our housing association about swapping with our neighbour she wanted to downsize as her daughter was moving out and we need bigger house she lives 2 doors away and has 4 bedroom house and they said no wudnt be allowed this was months ago so we were waitin til her daughter got a place and moved out and we were gonna fight it
well her daughter moved out 2 wks ago and our new housing officer agreed we cud start proceedings to see if we got approved for swap
last week i got all the stuff on my side sorted all the house assessed n things
today at 1.30 my neighbour came to me to ask how i got on and told me she was gettin all hers dont at 2.15 before her work
after which i knew they had 28 days to decide and i thought the management of the association wud try and find reasons to let us not swap
well at 3pm i get phone call from housing officer saying thats it all approved
im so chuffed cant wait to move prob leave it til mid march tho give us plenty time to pack, feel so lucky its only 2 doors away and will jst be perfect
my neighbour doesnt even know yet cos she is at work, they have left her a message at her house

we got a council house, cant wait to move just waiting to hear when now

ahh wow thats great, iv been thinking of a mutual exchange see if i can get a 4 bed house but dont think they will let me, but want something a little bigger so i can at least have my livingroom back, atm its just piled hight with toys x

I did that when i moved out of home and moved in with marc in to our flat i left work and went to my mums i sat down had a cup of tea before she actually reminded me i didnt live there any more
