I signed Ollie up to the Birthday Club early last year in an ELC store and then his birthday came and went and he didn't get anything from them so I went in store and asked about it and they gave me a number to ring. I eventually got round to phoning them the end of last week and a couple of days later received a print off of a voucher for 25% off which expires Feb 26th and a flimsy board game with pop out tokens and a dice that needs to made up which states at the bottom 'Not suitable for under 3's'?! Can anyone else see why I'm a bit peeved??

Yup. The 25% voucher I suppose they may say 2weeks is long enough but the boardgame for a 1yr old when its for 3+ is ridiculous. Id email again and complain. Only prob is they may say that you getting something for free so you shouldnt moan... then again I dont think people in the UK complain half as much as they should!

What if you were silly and just gave it to him anyway and he'd ended up choking? ELC should at least be notified before a child gets hurt.

Lol, We've been joined up since Ollie was born, and we get the voucher..usually has a month to use by and a dvd rom of something a bit naff First year was a Jack and the bean stork and last one was a 'elc fruit friends' thingy cd rom

Callums been joined with them since he was a couple weeks old my mum brought him something and she joined it but weve had nothing through on his 1st birthday not even a voucher with anything off xx

When I phoned up they said he wasn't on the system so don't know how reliable they are at forwarding on the details!

I too didnt get anything the 1st year so had to call then when it arrived it was out of date!

This year got 20% and a really good nursery songs CD!

i am positive i signed Dee up for that ! ,,, was 2 weeks before her forst birthday though and i was told that was to late for that year ,,,,, must remember this , just for curiousity sake x

i got the same for lillys 2nd birthday lilly loves that cd although some are a bit fast and have strange voices on lol!!

We signed Aimee up for this and we haven't had anything for her birthday x
