I obviously can't help you with yours Mario, but if anyone could give me a hand on what to put in mine then it would be greatfully appreciated, I haven't got a clue what I want other than I know that I want as little pain relief as possible, although if I end up needing it all then thats fine too and I want Matt to cut the cord and her to be put straight onto my chest xx

Hey hun, probs cant really help but your midwife should be discussing it with you very soon, my MW mentioned mine today and that we will 'discuss it' next time I go in 2 weeks. Last time all I really said was that I was open minded but would really like Simon to cut the cord but didnt even get that!! xxx |

have you started your classes yet? they went over birth plans at mine. also, do you not have a bit at the back of your notes with a birth plan to fill out? (mine did) cow and gate and boots have ones to give you an idea, also NHS website. might went to plan (except i had a water birth when i didn't want one ) do you want an injection to help deliver placenta, vitamin k for baby, student present?

i'm the same as susan , spent ages writing one and they never even looked at it and nothing went to plan. I do think its worthwhile doing one though, i think i got a template for mine off the nhs website.

mine was that i wanted dim lighting, as quiet as possible, as little pain relief as possible, hubby to cut cord, skin to skin contact, injection for placenta and vitamin k injection for baby (rather than oral doses), i also really wanted a water birth but as i was induced in the end i couldn't have one, but otherwise it was good and went to plan except for it being dim light - it was actually hailing/sunny and the windows were open
