We pay for the home care that British Gas offer (about £22 a month) and had our boiler serviced on Tuesday. Now for a week or so we'd noticed that if we just had the hot water on independantly a few of the radiators were getting warm/hot. So the engineer told us we neede this new valve putting on.
So a different engineer came yesterday and fitted a new valve but as soon as he left we out the hot water on and guess what?? Yep, ALL of the radiators were getting really hot so we rang the call centre and told them and they said an engineer would be out today between 12 and 6 to look at/sort again. I also noticed a little bit of water in the airing cupboard that was dripping on an electric box!! (there was no leak before).
We were going grocery shopping so Simon had to take his car to work and do it on the way home, I had my car booked in for an MOT but had to cancel because I had a midwife appointment (and Simon wanted to come to that too). It got to half 5 and we get a phone call from the call centre to say that their jobs had overrun and we wouldnt see an engineer today!!!
Seriously pissed off!!
