Have just put together the trike I got from toysrus for Izzy

I have tried the front wheel in both ways and neither works right...one way and the pedals dont work and the other way it clicks when I push the frikin thing
The booklet mentions clicking when freewheeling - but is it freewheeling when I push (when for example she doesn't pedal)

Cant turn the wheel round cos the pedals just go round and don't make it move

We tried it out in the shop yesterday (the demo one) and it didn't make any noise and she wasn't pedalling

Would you put up with this noise?! Im so mad cos he birthday is tomorrow

No way would i put up with that, its loud!!! Show it her tomorrow, let her have a go and then take it back and get a new one!

i would maybe let her play with it in morning she wont realise the noise aint meant to be there then maybe while she is napping or the day afterzoom to toys are us and have it exchanged whilst making a mega complaint ?

I have changed the wheel round about 5 times lol and its a tricky fecker to screw up, but the other way it doesn't make the noise when I push it but the pedlas don't work

Im thinking for tomorrow til I get to take it back I'll turn it round so I can push her and it wont click, cos I dont think she will pedal at first anyway...I hope not anyway cos if I change it round she wont move when she pedals!

I even 'sat' on the frigin thing to check I was 'pedalling' with my hands the right way - began to wonder if I knew how to pedal a bike!

i would let her play with it in the house, then exchange it. happy birthday to izzy for tomorrow

Is it one of those with the 'clutch' - So pedals don't move and parent has full control or you can press the clutch in and kid has full control?

There is no mention of a clutch Zee in the instructions, and cant see anything on the wheel either

whoa..that doesn't sound good! I agree with the other ladies tho..its her bday..and let her play with it..then take it back for an exchange..oh..and btw..complain..and someone in their toy dept may put it together for you for all the inconvienence of it all! xxx

Lou Ive never bought anything other than the odd soft baby toy from there before...and this has really put me off!
Its a 30 minute drive there too, I wish I'd bought one from Argos in town now

I've just watched the video and am wondering why when you push it forwards the pedals don't move but when you pull it back they do? They shouldn't move at all in parent mode?!

Its all screwed up Lita - the wheel has been made wrong inside somehow Im sure, cos neither way works as it should

How strange think i would let her see it tomorrow then go change it because if the one in the shop wasent doing it then id change it incase something else goes wrong with it xx
