Ive got a normal single duvet and pillow yes - she is used to sleeping with a pillow as has done since he was 4 months, also she went through a phase of taking her sleeping bag off so was under a cot quilt and she knew how to get under it and snuggle up! So I think she will be fine

Maybe before you put her in the big bed you could try getting her used to blanket/quilt in the cot so she knows how to get under them and tucked up?

I have read that most toddlers tend to fall out a few times and then naturally learn to stay on the bed, Izzy doesnt move loads lately so I am hoping she will be fine...still will put soft stuff on the sides in case she falls out

Aaw you are not crap Char. Thomas has had a pillow in his cot since he was 10 months - he had a cold and it helped him breath a bit better. He has had a cotbed duvet since 11 months so when i get brave enough to take the sides off he will just have the same bedding he is used to.

When we moved Libby we did the whole hog, she went from being in her cot with a sleeping bag to going in a bed with no sides and a pillow & quilt Embarassed She was such a wriggle bum though and did fall out a few times in the first couple of weeks (she didn't cry though so it can't have hurt her Laughing ) and she has gotten herself in some funny strange positions (I think you saw the pic of her sleeping while half standing up Shocked Laughing ).

Edited to say that we use a normal single quilt as it's easier and cheaper to buy covers for, we just tuck the excess under the mattress. xx
