Hi ladies, hope someone can help me.

E has been weaning for a good month now as she has reflux and hates milk!

we found that she did actually take milk better if she had eaten a 'meal' all going well till she had an upste tum a couple of weeks ago, after that she would only take 2/3oz again so we stopped solids to get her back on the milk.

That seems to have worked and we have got her back on about 24 oz of milk per day and back on the 2/3 meals.


i need help with a balance, what time she should be having milk/meals

routine ATM is

still having night feed anywhere between 2 and 4, up at six (every single day)

7.30 bottle, small nap,
9.30/10 brekkie
12.30/1 bottle
2.30/3meal
5/5.30 bottle then sometimes she is bed for 6 so nothing til dream feed about 9.30 10pm.

she then has a night feed again, i think she should be dropping this but how?????


i need to help pulling it all together i dont know why it seems harder this time around!

when i first got ava onto 3 meals her routine was

7am milk
brekkie 9am
lunch 12pm
afternoon milk 2.30
dinner 1630
bedtime milk 1830
dreamfeed 11pm

ava dropped her nightfeed at about 5 months, and we stopped the dreamfeed about 7 months.

so much harder this time around, E was havig a night feed but only taking 3oz, she has now upped that to 6 aarrrrgggggghhhhhhh.

when will it ever end lol!!

blinking nightmare this time I agree!! Hollie I feel never stops with her bottle & now on 2 foods a day, I would have thougght she'd drop a bottle or want less milk.... nope.

she'l wake 6ish have 6oz about 7ish (she may have had a few oz in nigght if she woke, lastnight she took whole 6oz bottle twice!!!!)
then 8ish/9ish spoon or2 of porriage
then 12ish 6oz bottle
3ish another 6oz bottle
then 5ish spoon or two of what ever I find the energy to make, or defrost! lol
about 6/7 ish another 6oz
then she'l go down.... now some days she'l go 6/7pm-5am or she'l wake at 9/10 have another 6oz!! or wake 3 or 4ish am for a few oz.

so she's on about 24oz plus a day and on 2 meals.

I have no idea if right or wrong, iv forotten! lol but this time I feel I dont care ha I just go with her, havnt got time to force her into any routine lol xx

At e's age alfie's routine was:7.30 wake,8am 8oz bottle,9am brekkie,12 dinner 3pm 8oz bottle,5pm tea,7pm bottle.we stopped dream feeding him at 18weeks once he's been weaned for a couple of weeks and he hasn't woke for a night time bottle since he was 14weeks x
