| Well Rhys has been having a tiny amount of porridge (about a teaspoon and a half mixed with milk til very runny) about tea time (between 4-6pm with his bottle) for about a week now and now I am confuzzled!!
Do I introduce another meal time i.e brekkie or different food first? He is still having about five 7oz bottles a day.
Thanks in advance ladies! I know you will make it all make sense!!
Xx

| ummm i think you just swap it around and try him with a tiny bit of pureed something either mixed with the porridge or just before/after...i remember my h.v suggested trying new things early in the day so if he got a sore tummy at least he was grumpy in daytime not all night if you think he is hungry enough you could keep going with cereal/porridge at tea as you know he is fine with it (and gradually thicken it) and try a little bit of a new thing at lunchtime? |

| There was an article in Take A Break this week about weaning!! Both my older boys were started weaning at 4 months and Rhys was starting to wake in the night so I knew he was a hungry munchkin!!
Will have a look for the weaning bit when not on my phone!!

| I started weanin when hollie was waking in the night again. but shes just not fussed, came on for some advice, as doesnt matter how hard im trying differnt things shes jsut not fussed, spends more time spittin it out!! when I do get her to eat it she does sleep through so its what she needs, I cant figure it out. soooo confusing isnt it?!?! I cant remember like it was that long ago, but Hollies on 6 oz bottles, she'l have spoon or 2 of porriage, then about 5ish at night she'l have rice with brocli or carrots or potatoes and carrot, or sweet pots but either she's just not fussed!!! grrrr but she'l eye up my dinner! the monkey. feel like weaning has come around far too quick this time around!! x |

| Well after being told off by HV!! and me politely informing her what I thought of her bull!! Rhys is still on the weaning journey! He has 4 or 5 bottles a day (7oz) and dinner which is either porridge or just started on purees etc, he has about half a small jar approx and as soon as he sees the bowl and spoon he's gets rather excited and kicks his legs like a loon, which when your feeding him in his bouncy chair aiming is a tad difficult! Have just introduced brekkie too.
He has been waking up again, he had stopped but he does have a yuckky cold and tooths are playing up!! But fingers crossed that settles soon!
Hope everyone else is doing well!
