Does anyone know what the best nappies for long skinny boys are? Very Happy Milo will be about 20 months when we arrive in England, and he's about 11kgs (about 24lbs, i think) with a very skinny waist and bum. In Japan we're using pull up pants, as they make them from a really young age - I think we've been using them since he was about 8 months. In England last year, I couldn't find any small pull ups - they all seemed to be for 2 years +, and Milo doesn't stay still long enough to put on and do up a regular nappy Rolling Eyes We had a ton of leaks!

So I'm looking for something good for skinny boys, even if it's not pull ups I guess I could do it up beforehand and slide it on like a pull up - so I guess it would have to have a bit of an elasticated waist.. and preferably something good at catching runny poos, and not letting them leak down his leg Puke

what would you say is our best bet? Thank You

I swear by Boots Active Fit for poo catching because they have a double elastic edge where tops of legs go. They aren't the cheapest nappy in town but we save on stain removal products so I consider it a good investment Smile

I don't have a long skinny boy though. My nephew is, I'll ask what my sister used as she was too thrifty for pull-ups x

Thanks Em, I'll definitely give those a try! We're going to be closer to a Boots than an Asda or Tesco so if they work, that would be very handy! Very Happy
Carla, thanks, I'll get some of those in too!

We went through so many brands while we were over there (were only there for 3 weeks too!), we found pull ups that should have fit him weight wise, but as soon as he did a poo, they would just fall to the ground! Shocked I think I'm going to have to fatten him up to get him in English nappies! Wink

ummm we use pampers baby dry cos we tried loads and has leaks everywhere - eli is only about 20lbs though and size 4 are just right on him (although i think they are something crazy like 18lb to 40lb range!). we wanted to try using pullups because nappy change is a major issue at the moment but they are sooooooooooooooo expensive in comparison (pampers baby dry are always on offer somewhere or other).

if they are too pricey, tesco's own were pretty good when elijah was very tiny and had bf poos but as he got bigger he had lots of up the back incidents so not sure they continue to be great!

Im using pampers easy ups-recently got 180 of em on offer for 26 pound and they seem to suit c who is sknny. Shes in 4s which shud be fine for milo too. Id reccomend either pants over top though or sturdy trousers - if i put c in leggins they tend to sag.

I use Sainsburys and Huggies Pulls Ups, they contain poo well, never had a leak andthey are easy to get up and down (great for potty training)

I actually prefer the Sainsburys ones, but last week Huggies were on offer and so worked out cheaper!
But I would never pay almost 30p per pant for Huggies normally, even Sainsburys at 19p is bad enough!

We use Asda Little Angels range.
For nappies, wipes and nappy cream. We have found them fab Very Happy
wipes we get 4 for £3, we get through lots of wipes as madam and OH use them to clean Flick's chalk board Rolling Eyes Laughing
We used to use Little Angels range for bath stuff too but where Flick's skin is really dry we have taken to Sanex or any moisturising shower gels x

Wil is in Pampers Baby Dry too. Size 5 in the day time and 5+ at night. Anything else would be full within an hour

You just need to perfect the art of changing a nappy while he is standing up.
