It's our neighbours (and close friend) 40th birthday party next weekend!
I've been so looking forward to it, oh even brought a dress for me! It's a little see through but I've found underwear so it's not obseen, makes me feel amazing and very sexy!

So I asked my neighbours wife if she could help with an opinion on the dress. Said I'd pop round and show her, she said of course that's fine! ( we get on really well, Shea a very good friend)
She asked what the dress was like, so I told her and its the same dress she was going to buy but her one was in black. She said she will get another one and 'oh that one is see through I don't know what you wear under that!' now I feel like I shouldn't wear it.
But I think she's more pissed off that it's the same dress than anything.

What do I do?

I rarely feel good about myself but this time I do, so should I be selfish or shall I find something else?

stuff her i would wear it if you feel good it then go for it x

If you feel amazing in it then defo wear it! its not often us mummys get a chance to feel beautiful

what about taking a photo and putting it on here and seeing if we think its too see through...

I know it's see through, you can see my tattoo on my back quite clearly, but it's only the back and the knickers I'm getting are kinda like hotpants so not like I'm showing everything off!

if i felt that great in it i would wear it! maybe dress it up a bit so its not the same as hers, like have a shrug or some thing funky to add to it.
