I just skipped and banged Jamie's head against the wall. I don't think I hit it very hard. He cried for about 3 seconds and has a tiny bump and is now chatting away. Do you think I should keep him awake in case of concussion? Mind you his wide awake anyway so not sure I have much of a choice

heya i used to be terrified when these things happened but these days i am a bit more relaxed. i would keep an eye on him for maybe half an hour or so, if he isn't sick/seems himself i really wouldn't worry too much... that is just me though, and im totally sure someone will know the actual proper guidelines, try not to worry

Thanks ladies. He has since tried to eat my phone, has wriggled across the bed to get to his dad who is trying to sleep, has licked all down my arm and is currently alternating between feeding and grinning at me so I suspect he is fine and also is not going to sleep

I used to smack Caitlins head off door frames shockingly regularly! She just seemed to bounce back as I was going round corners. I felt awful at the time, and sometimes she did wail for 5-10 mins but I dont think it ever left a bump and she got over it quicker than I did! Yes keep an eye on him for half an hr to be sure but im sure he will be fine! Just wait til he falls off the sofa/bed! Then you will feel Crap!!!

Hmm finished typing, looked down and his zonked out and giggling in his sleep. Perhaps I should bang his head more often if it sends him to sleep

hahaha elijah is sporting a wonderful blue bruise on his cheek at the moment from tripping into a table - you will get used to it, little ones are surprisingly resilient
