| would look stupid with no curtains ? lol i have just taken them down to wash ( ashamed to say firs time in a year and half ) the brightness in my living room is amazing ! i love it ! and it looks bigger i dont want to put them back up now ! |

| If you like it, then leave them off!! Maybe just put them back in the winter when its gets dark and chilly |

| i only got curtains in the living room and thats cause of the nosey cow over the road, likes to stand and stare in from her bedroom window,
but apart from that i wouldnt have any

| Do you have nets/blinds? My mum only has blinds in her living room and it looks fine. Think she may have white thin drapes wrapped round curtain pole but not 100% sure. Doesnt look weird anyway. The only time I think you may miss them is in the winter but sure you can put them back up. As for ashamed to say they havent been washed in a year and a half - mine got washed when I moved here 20 months ago and iv no intention of doing them again any time this year! Do they really get that dirty? God please dont tell me everyone washes their curtains twice a year!!! |

| I'm not a curtain washer!! the ones in my front room are red and have been up over 2 years without a wash, theyre not dirty and we hardly go in there. The ones in my proper living room are cream and we live there most of the time and have a open fire so these tend to get dirty so get washed proably twice a year. |

| im not a curtain washer but i often give the blinds a bath then hose em off with the shower |

| mike said NO ,, if i am to leave my curtains down then he will remove my living room lights and replace them with 1 swinging bulb ,no shade, so from outsite the room looks the part ! |

| Why not get some clip in blinds so they're out the way most of the day but you can still pull them down and have privacy? |
