I swear if a burglar walked through the door now they would turn round a walk out thinking it had aleady been done over

In my defence we got back late last night from my parents after being up there for Hannah's christening, before we went we were in a mad rush to get everything sorted and packed, we were also in the middle of decorating Hannah's room so all her stuff is spread throughout the other bedrooms, the bathroom is upside down from the mad rushed baths when we got home last night and the kitchen is covered in left over chinese that we ate before we passed out last night from shear exhaustion I also have a demanding baby girl and an over tired toddler to contend with.

I have absolutely no idea where to start with it all so what am i doing? burying my head in BANDA and hoping it will all just go away

Damn you BANDA!!!!! you have made my house untidy and I demand you come round here right now and help me tidy it!!!

I haven't properly blitzed for over a week cos of being poorly with this tonsillitis rubbish - and yesterday while I lay on the sofa Izzy trashed the front room - every single toy she owns is scattered on the floor - everything she doesn't own is also on the floor Including a pack of tissues she attacked and junk mail she has torn up - if I didn't laugh at it I'd be pissed lol!

To top it off Dan worked virtually the whole night and kipped on the sofa, so thats got cushions spread everywhere

I am in the worst CAB mood ever and its really bad, I have kept up with the washing though, jeez if I left that for a week it would be serious!!

That's a great idea Michelle - I will get some tunes on when Thomas and Hannah wake from their nap and we will bounce around and tidy up will hopefully cheer me up to - it is always such an anti climax when the party is over

Lisa I'm now happy in the knowledge that I'm not the only BANDA lady with an uphill struggle on my hands - hope you are feeling better hun

I am actually thanks Debs now I can eat my tablets again - I thought it had gone on the weekend, but when I stopped my painkillers on Sunday (for my hip!) it was still there (I cant have my painkillers for work as they are waayy too strong so I have t grin and bear it while I'm there lol)

So I had a go at tidying the front room...stupidly while Izzy was there...now why is it that the minute I put something back in the basket - she wants it out again....and the next thing i put back - she wants that too
So moral of the story - don't tidy with toddlers about hehehehe

Know how you feel! My house gets like that. I usually get everyone in the house involed and it takes a lot less time.

I like your way of thinking mara! I think I will take your advice and stay here and then do the usual mad dash round the house throwing things in cupboards and washing machines 10 mins before OH gets home

i am sick to death of my house lately,

its a right shit hole, i spent most of yesterday doing downstairs just leaving the upstairs to do and tiday downstairs is a tip again, with the weather there is bloody washing everywhere
i am sick sick sick to death of it all

I got in a big mood about my house at the weekend as we stil have loads of DIY to do and the spare room is full of tools, there is wet washing everywhere as it keeps raining and the floor was covered with happyland and clippo. Then i had a big glass of wine and all was well

adam has just gone to work, i have loaded the dishwasher (again) i should be cleaning the bathroom however i have just heard Alice still whinging in her cot which means she hasnt and wont sleep now so that means getting bugger all done!

Its a right pain with decorating! We have 2 bedrooms ustira part done - and 1 downstairs, so there is stuff everywhere.

I have given up decorating our bedroom for a while though - Dan is too busy to help me so I gotfed up of all the chest of draers etc pulled in the middle of the room, put it all back - half decorated lol

Izzys new bedroom is so close to being done - just needs a final sanding down, cleaning and then I can paint! I have everything ready (stacked in our room lol) so it really shouldnt take long - but you know how it is, there is always something on the weekend that means you just don't get time.

The room downstairs was going to be her playroom, but when I pulled the carpet up we realised the floor needed re surfacing, so its a big job! So instead Dan is putting his big rubber mats down and moving his gym in there from upstirs - so it will be delayed a very lobg time I reckon!
Last week the washing did my head in - I got loads done cos it was warm, then it went frikin cold and nothing would hang dry - the tumbler was on loads and I ended up washing some baskets of washing twice cos they were say waiting to dry for too long, yuk!
